1x Rectangular Root Control Sheet suitable for use with Tray2Grow.
During setup, pre-soak your Root Control Sheet and lay it, copper face up, on top of the capillary matting supplied with your Tray2Grow.
Root Control Sheets help to prevent roots from penetrating the capillary matting and heading towards the AQUAvalve. They are highly effective due to their special copper coating. You can get a couple grow cycles out of the root control material. If the copper coating oxidizes off, you can still reuse them as there is copper woven throughout the material as well.

the copper may turn dark but it stays good. Don’t scrub it off and have others available while you are cleaning those.

This is my 1st time having to replace these after multiple runs. Id always just soak them and rinse them out for reuse. I finally noticed the roots making their way through the fabric and decided it was time to pull the trigger on black Friday. Thanks for the discount guys every little bit helps. This root blocking mat works great, so well in fact that I bought a couple more to cut up and line the bottoms of some of my other bottom-fed pots. Haven’t had to replace the ones in my Tray2Grows yet so they seem to last quite a while.
