The FlexiTank Tap allows you to connect your FlexiTank to your chosen water distribution system via a tapped supply. During initial assembly the large threaded end is pushed through the main port in the lower FlexiTank body. The the washer and nut included with the Tap fitting are then placed over and tightened on the threaded end.
The Click-Fit Tap outlet that remains on the outside of the FlexiTank allows you to attach a standard 1/2” Green Hose Connector, a 1/2” Click Fit Tank Adaptor and Filter or a 1/2”-1/4” Click Fit Tank Adaptor and Filter.

This is a must have! It is going to make your transition to using autopot & flexi tank so much easier. May I suggest just like I do with everything else. Especially to first time growers, it might be a good idea to have two on hand.
It is worth mentioning that over tightening will result in not proper use. Make sure to inspect the component before use to look for any damage to the threads.

Absolutely needed and functions well. My issue is with the screw on click tap. The plastic that the male adapter sits on needs to be re-engineered and strengthened for when it is used with the flex filters.
If you are purchasing this part, I would order 2 extra (only $2.95) for when that adaptor piece snaps off and now you can feed your plants. Highly recommend spare parts for this system just in case!!

Works very well. Had one drp issue but it was coming from the actual turn handle.
It finally stoped. Must have gotten dry during down time

Great valve if you make your own resevoir like i did. The seal is great and it connects to the quick connect that you get with the Tray2 grow.
